Calling For Justice.

Campaigning For Change

#Christopher’sLaw is a grassroots campaign led by Patrizia Cassaniti, calling for tougher penalties, clearer accountability, and stronger legal protections for workers in high-risk industries like construction.

It was born out of tragedy, the death of 18-year-old Christopher Cassaniti, and out of a desperate need for laws that value life over shortcuts.

What Is #Christopher’s Law?

Why It Matters

Too often, workplace deaths are treated as unfortunate “accidents.”
But many of these incidents are preventable. They happen because safety processes are ignored, workers are silenced, and accountability is weak.

#Christopher’sLaw aims to:

  • Introduce industrial manslaughter legislation nationally

  • Enforce mandatory jail time for proven negligence causing death

  • Increase the ability of workers to report unsafe practices anonymously

  • Support families seeking justice in the wake of loss

The Campaign So Far

  • In partnership with SafeWork NSW, Patrizia co-developed an app for anonymous worker reporting

  • Ongoing consultation with legal bodies, MPs, and regulators

  • Speaking directly to politicians and industry groups

  • Petition and public awareness through speaking engagements

“My son lost his life because people didn’t speak up. My mission is to give others the courage to do what he never got the chance to.”
