WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
Since Christopher Cassaniti’s tragic loss due to a jobsite scaffold collapse in Sydney, his mother Patrizia has been on a mission to get infront of as many workers as possible to share her story of the loss, the grief and the plea for change in the culture of the industry. Starting with shifting complacency in every worker and giving them the courage to speak up when they feel they are in danger or see unsafe work practices, without being victimised or have fear of losing their job.
Patrizia is not only there as a motivational speaker but a as mum who wants to resonate with workers on a personal level and inspire them to always work safe so that they can go home safe to their families every day.

This was one of the most moving safety talks I've ever been to, and I was barely holding it together as we watched the videos.
This was the best speaker I have ever seen. I was crying wholeheartedly because of the impact the message had.
I was personally touched by the situation she was found in, it has a profound impact on the way I deal with safety on site. I always regard safety highly, but now it is always at the forefront of my mind above productivity.
As having a son myself, Patrizia’s presentation has completely touched my heart. I am amazed at how powerful her message has come across and will never forget her and her families story. Holding back tears the entire time.
An incredible story, very impactful and eye opening.
What a strong Woman to be able to stand up in front of people and talk about her Son and play those videos, truly remarkable.
I remember watching the news story on TV at the time and thought, that’s terrible. Now that I have met the Mother of the person involved it has made it hit home. I really think Patrizia is amazingly strong to be able to do what she is doing.
It made me reflect on my own family and how we do things that we know are not right but we get away with them. It has made me take stock of what’s important and think about what I’m doing, what the risk is and what I can do to help other people.
The presentation, the videos and Patrizia’s passion made me realize what complacency can cause.
The message hit home, inspiring Woman, strong and passionate, what a special person to share her story to drive change.

You are doing such an amazing job Patrizia. I saw one of your presentations a couple of years back thanks to ADCO Constructions and can still remember it like it was yesterday. My hard hat from the day is now out of use, but I've still got it in my office with the Touched by Christopher sticker as a reminder to just take a moment and think about safety. Keep up the great work!

Thank you for your time and presentation at the Wyong Hospital last week. While your story is very sad and confronting, our team relayed that it had opened their eyes to a wider range of hazards that exist on sites and to not walk past any issues along the way. I wish you the best in your future quest to raise awareness through the industry!

Your talk was very powerful and I’ve noticed a difference in culture on our job since. The work crew were very engaged in your story. An unbelievably tough journey, no doubt, but if it can make a difference in the industry, Christopher’s loss will not be in total vein. It must take a lot of courage to do what you do and your son would be extremely proud of you.

Hi Patrizia I was one of the workers at depto today. Thank you for sharing your story, quite a few of the workers spoke between us about how much the presentation affected then and how it made them think about what they are doing day to day and what they need to be thinking about when going to work each day. Thanks again, it definantly had an affect on our workgroup.
